Rehearsal Dinner

Picture
Our rehearsal dinner is at a nice Italian Restaurant and will be served Family Style followed by dancing (the restaurant's bar area has always has a band come in and perform on Friday nights). I'm wearing this dress that I picked up Banana Republic last year and just have not had an occasion to wear it yet.  I figured it's got that kinda dressy thing going on plus the animal print connects well with our wedding the next day being held at a zoo.

The Bride

I had planned to wear my Grandmother's wedding dress, but had second thoughts during the altering stage.  I was shocked to find this dress at David's Bridal and completely fell in love the moment I tried it on.  I love the lightweight fabric and the pockets. I appreciate that the dress is understated but yet sophiticated and classic.  I know I will feel comfortable in it on my wedding day-for 12 hours. The price was beyond amazing. I didn't want to look too marshmellow or cupcakie-I'm pretty petite and it doesn't take much to make me looked submersed.  I am thinking about adding a sash or belt and possibly a bolero for the ceremony.  I am definitely making a birdcage veil.  As pictures become available I will be sure to post.  Below is me in the dress-not yet altered.

My Maid of Honor, Matron of Honor, and Bridesmaids will all be wearing this dress from Priscilla of Boston's Vineyards collection in Lapis with gold shoes of their choice.

The Groom and His Men

The Groom and his men are renting from Men's Warehouse Calvin Klein Tuxes with vests and ties.  The Groom will be wearing ivory, the Groomsmen and ringbearer will be wearing the Lapis, and the Dads and Grandpas will be wearing the Tuscany colors.
